Aerial dance: a hybrid of contemporary dance and aerial flow that utilizes the floor, the sky, and the space in between. The silk is used as a tool to broaden our possibilities as dancers while still working on technique, alignment, and lines. Class includes floor work, barre, and progression through postures in the silk with an emphasis on transitions. No dance experience necessary but level 2 and up, participants should expect to be up in the silk more than in flow flight.
