Posing Masterclass | Aerial for the Camera

We'll explore how to translate our favorite aerial poses into shapes that look great on camera, looking at lines, angles, and details like fingers, feet, and expression. A great preparation for an aerial photoshoot or just to learn to find your angles when videoing yourself in open studio. Open to all levels of aerialists, as even relatively simple or easy poses translate into great photos.

Please note that this is not an aerial instruction class; while you don't need to be an advanced practitioner, you should be comfortable inverting independently and moving through Level 1 postures like lunges, down dog, and standing in the hammock, as we will not spend time teaching poses but instead refining postures within the students' current vocabulary.

Expect the opportunity to partner up and grab smartphone photos to experiment. This workshop is a preparatory class for photos and is not a professional photoshoot.
